ABS Pumps Inc. began serving the North American marketplace in 1970.
In 1987, the Meriden headquarters was expanded to 72,000 square feet. This modern up-to-date facility houses the latest in state of the art equipment and technology:
-Complete wet and dry pit test facility capable of handling up to 400 horsepower; 24" discharge pumps with flows up to 25,000 GPM. Certified performance tests are run in accordance with Hydraulic Institute Standards.
-A full service motor rewind shop provides windings for all of the ABS product service repairs.
-An in-house machine shop provides turning, milling, drilling, tapping, welding, and grinding, functions for all of the ABS manufactured product line.
-Our fully computerized CAD and business control systems gives ABS the ability to provide our customers with complete pump and control panel design, installation drawings, custom operation and installation manuals and efficient shipping timetables for total customer satisfaction.
