Piping and Equipment was established in January 1969. The doors were opened with three warehouses in three states.
The company was formed under the leadership of Roger A. Patterson, Sr.
The emphasis of the new organization was excellence in performance, the pursuit of which began with the hiring of a select staff.
We have enjoyed a long-term association with major PVF manufacturers. This relationship began with the founders of our company and continues today.

Our motto, "Pride in Excellence", is the result of our Total Quality Program. The program started in 1987 and has gained Piping and Equipment recognition as one the nation's most respected "quality" PVF distributors. Piping and Equipment in Houston, Texas, has been awarded a certificate of registration in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 by the Quality Certification Bureau (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada).
