Thomas Pipe began in 1983 as a local operation founded on hard work, customer service and dedicated employees. Since that time, our company has evolved into a multinational pipe distributor with sales and stocking locations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Houston, Texas; and St. Louis, Missouri. As the times have changed, the company has steadily grown to become one of the largest tonnage stocking distributors of prime domestic and foreign carbon steel pipe in the United States, specializing in large O.D., heavy-wall, double-submerged arc weld (DSAW), seamless, electric resistance weld (ERW), and X-grade line pipe.
Today, advances in computerization such as bar-coding, electronic data interchange, and electronic mill test reports have produced sweeping changes in the industry.
