  2. Document observations and measurements for information and evaluation.
  3. Assist in analyzing any problem areas and recommend solutions.

We know the importance of a proper on going Mechanical Integrity program. Our API Certified and other qualified inspectors can assist you in many disciplines regarding maintenance inspection.

Maintenance Inspections

Turnaround & Outage inspection is a critical component in maintaining a profitable facility. We realize the importance of trained, certified and qualified inspectors in this unique area of inspection. Chemical plants, power plants and refineries utilize this method to repair, upgrade and inspect on a regularly scheduled basis. A "routine tune-up."

Our team inspects equipment normally not accessible during normal unit operation. Therefore, we must provide you with the most accurate and comprehensive inspection available in a short period of time. We follow these guidelines:
  1. Review past information of equipment prior to performing the current inspection.
  2. Prepare an inspection plan based on client requirements and the applicable codes and standards.
  3. Perform the inspection in a safe planned manner.
  4. Document any/all items regarding the condition of the equipment. We can provide inspection reports utilizing our format or yours.
  5. Prepare a final report with recommendations. Assist in analyzing current and/or potential problems.

Our goal is to help assure our client safe, and productive equipment for your facility.

Construction Inspection

New Construction Inspection is very important to the cost-effective start-up and on going maintenance of any facility. OSHA 1910.119(J) paragraph six (6) states:

"QA shall be performed during the construction of new plants."

We have the capability to provide QA inspectors in many different disciplines.

QA during new construction can help cut start-up costs and ensure a "trouble-free" unit upon project completion.

We follow these guidelines:

  1. Review applicable codes, standards, and client specifications applying to each project.
  2. Monitor and verify proper installation, testing and final acceptance of equipment during entire construction phase.
  3. Set-up a complete record system for all equipment to be used during start-up and future maintenance activities. These records can be set-up to be entered into your computerized inspection/maintenance record system.

This a cost-effective method of implementing your Mechanical Integrity program. Data acquisition is less costly during the construction process than during unit operation.

It is very important to start-up with "as-built" drawings and other information that help assure a smooth transition to maintenance. We have experience compiling data to interface with SAP.

Vendor Inspection

Inspection of fabricated items at Vendor facilities is very important to the cost-effective operation of any plant. Unnecessary delays in receiving your equipment can result in costly unplanned shutdowns of existing units or delays in the start-up of a new facility. Our inspectors are qualified/certified to inspect and expedite your equipment to your exact specifications. We follow the guidelines listed below:

  1. Review client specifications with respect to materials, tolerances, workmanship, codes, standards, and required hold points.
  2. Inspect & expedite your equipment in accordance with your specifications, applicable codes and your required schedule.
  3. Report and document the necessary information to you to evaluate the quality and date of delivery of your specific item. Special attention is given to each item to notify you of any problems involving materials, fabrication, welding, testing or delivery dates.
